I love hard science fiction. I don’t have the formal science education to write it convincingly, but I try anyway because it’s so much fun. That’s why I’m so excited to see my story “Jesus Machine” on the Quantum Shorts contest page.
Quantum Shorts is a flash fiction contest focusing on quantum physics. The contest is organized by the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) at the National University of Singapore, and is sponsored by Scientific American and Nature, as well as a slew of international universities and quantum research companies. The shortlist will be announced in April. Wish me luck!
My story was originally published by Daily Science Fiction in 2018. It’s great to have the chance to wring some more life out of this story. It’s short—less than 500 words—so it won’t take long to read it. If you have time, check out some of the other contest entries. The ideas are exciting!
Congrats! It’s a great story 🙂
