“Little Tiger” is a flash story about a father and son. The setting is Eastern China in 208 B.C. I think this is one of the most exciting times in ancient Chinese history, and I hope this short story brings a bit of that time to life.
This story sat in a drawer for more than a year before I submitted it. I’m glad I finally did — and I’m thrilled The Copperfield Review chose to feature it. I hope you can take a moment to read about Lin and his impetuous teenage son. Please enjoy.
Thank you, Marcy! π
What a superb tale! This could easily pass for a translation of a story written way back in ancient China. Truly a pleasure to read.
Thank you, Mona! I appreciate your support! And I’m glad you liked the story. π
I loved this story! Your writing, as always, takes me in and allows me to see though the eyes of the storyteller. π
